Im no pro but isnt that gas valve top plastic? Well even if it is
metal how will you turn it off without burning your clothes and face,any
shutoff even if an emergency shut off should be safe from heat-fire. Do
I see a regulator at the burner? . The Copper out back, if it is legal?
Is not secure or safe from breaking off, and looks Great on your siding!
Did they say they would get the permit ? Im sure not as most work is
done without. If you cant stop payment you could go get one, say you
forgot and need an inspection. The inspector will straighten it all out
and give them hell for it now and in the future. [ I did this also
after the fact ] They will have the city to deal with in the future so
will fix the problem. Otherwise it is court time if they refuse. So id
say stop pay and just go get the permit And post more close up photos.
