Got a call just now - headhunter.

Type of work - HVAC field work

Work location - Iraq :-)

Payrange - $ 80K to $100 K, tax free

Caveats mentioned by recruiter during brief call :

Snakes
Scorpions
Living in a tent in the desert
140 degree heat
Occasional incoming mortar fire
But not very often, not 'all day every day'

Yes, no ****, I'm not making this up to be funny. I got the
call, and this is what he said to me.

Pre-req ( among others ) : a psych screen to make sure you're
not the kind of person who would want to bring his own gun with him
and carry it all the time.

Yes, truly. No kidding. He said that to me.

I gave him Davey's number :-) ( OK, OK, kidding on that one
- but not the rest !!!! )

Paul ( pjm @ pobox . com ) - remove spaces to email me
'Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.'

This is Turtle.

Everything sounds pretty good but the part about no guns, Women, or Drinking.
Them hand must be a sad bunch after work everyday. These things just left me out
of the picture but everything else sounds pretty good.

I hate to say this but you just got a Screw loose somewhere, Son. Also you need
to stop Sucking on them there resi or what ever that is for I think that is your
problem with the Screw loose.

This is Turtle.

The Tent and the Mortar fire is alright but there is a old saying about not
having your Colt 45 Side Wheeler with you. Never Bring a BaseBall Bat to a Gun
fight. You can get killed doing that.
