Trying to replace the door seal on a Hotpoint WDL540 P(UK)-C. Successfully removed the top and the control panel, but hit a brick wall with the front panel. I'm told it needs to come off, but the bugger seems to be glued on and has wires running down the inside.

What now? I have a machine lying in pieces on my kitchen floor and the in-laws are due round in 50 minutes.
