Perhaps someone could tell me the minimum height above floor level for 13
amp sockets, and also above worktop height in kitchens, also as most people
will know of ,that terrible mess of cables behind the TV, within 16th regs
are you allowed to move the TV 13 amp socket up the wall so that it and the
cable are more hidden by the TV?

there is no min or max heights of socket outlets but the building regs (that
is required only to new builds ) says above 450mm for sockets and below
1200mm for light switches
as a rule for kitchen sockets allow 920mm for base unit with worktop and
150mm for first row of tiles (saves you cutting )
