I have a Vent-Axia SOLO Plus bathroom fan that is switched on by a light switch dimmer that also switches on a single 50W / 240V spot light. The spot light is on the 250W dimmer. All was working well but recently the light goes off sometime after I've switched it on although the fan continues to work perfectly. I can re-trigger the light to go on by switching off the dimmer and then switching it on again. Any ideas?

The dimmer is a dual gang and I tried swapping the lights so that the extractor fan / light is now on the other dimmer but same problem.

Could it be the controller / regulator in the fan that faulty?
